Booking & Cancellation Policy
Last updated: 23 June 2026
Why we have this policy
When you book with Statura, that time is held exclusively for you — no one else can take it. This policy explains what that means in practice, so there are no surprises for either of us.
Deposits and payment
- Initial Consultation — secured with a $100 deposit at time of booking.
- The Screen — paid in full ($129) at time of booking.
- All other appointments — no deposit required to book.
Cancellations and rescheduling
We ask for at least 24 hours' notice to change or cancel an appointment.
- 24+ hours' notice: any deposit or prepayment is fully transferable to a new time, or refundable on request.
- Inside 24 hours, or a missed appointment: your deposit or prepayment is forfeited. For appointments without a deposit, a $50 fee applies.
We understand genuine emergencies happen — reach out and we'll work with you.
Late arrivals
We hold a 15-minute grace period for late arrivals. If you arrive within this window, your appointment will still end at its originally scheduled time, and the full fee applies. If you arrive later than 15 minutes without contacting us, it's treated as a missed appointment under the policy above.
Program packages
If you've purchased a multi-session program, any unused sessions are refunded pro-rata at the rate you paid — there's no expiry, and no penalty for finishing your program earlier than planned. We'd rather you leave with money back than stay in care you don't need.
Refunds
- Clinical outcomes are not refundable. Like all healthcare, chiropractic care doesn't guarantee a specific result — your fee is for the professional service provided, not a promised outcome.
- Billing errors are corrected and refunded in full.
- If we cancel your appointment (illness, emergency), you can choose a full refund or a free reschedule.
This policy operates alongside your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, which always apply regardless of anything written here.
